We are GRyS, a multidisciplinary research group at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) dedicated to advancing next-generation networks and services. Our members bring together diverse expertise in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Internet of Things (IoT), cooperative robotics, wireless sensor and actuator networks (WSAN), advanced software architectures, distributed applications and middleware, high-performance and resilient computing, semantic and adaptive systems, decision support systems, and cloud and edge computing.

The group brings together experienced researchers, early-career academics, and emerging talents, forming a vibrant and evolving team capable of addressing the complex challenges of today’s interconnected world. GRyS has a strong record of participation in national and international research projects, including coordination roles, and its members have published extensively in leading journals, conferences, and books.

Beyond academic research, we are committed to turning knowledge into impact. Several of our developments have led to registered software products and open-source solutions, reflecting our dedication to open science, collaboration, and technology transfer. This approach not only advances our field but also contributes to making digital technologies more accessible, sustainable, and useful to society.
