Dr. Mario San-Emeterio-de-la-Parte

Mario San Emeterio de la Parte began his research career with the Next-Generation Networks and Services (GRyS) group while completing his M.Sc. in the Internet of Things (IoT) at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).

He has participated in several European research projects, including AFarCloud (Aggregate Farming in the Cloud, ECSEL JU) and H2020 DEMETER (Building an Interoperable, Data-Driven, Innovative, and Sustainable European Agri-Food Sector).

Mario got his Ph.D. in 2024, and currently is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Telematic Engineering and Electronics (DTE).
He teaches courses on networks, signaling and switching, and advanced programming.

His research interests include semantic spatio-temporal data management, real-time IoT models, semantic middleware, interoperability, Big Data, and AI-driven systems.
