SDGs Alignment
At GRyS, we align our research and innovation activities with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Through our projects, collaborations, and educational initiatives, we contribute to a number of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting technological innovation, sustainable digital infrastructures, and knowledge transfer that benefits society and the environment.
SDG 2 — Zero Hunger
We contribute to sustainable and resilient agricultural systems through projects such as AFarCloud and DEMETER, focused on precision agriculture and farm automation.
Our work supports:

SDG 4 — Quality Education
Education and knowledge dissemination are at the heart of GRyS.
We train undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students through research internships, final projects, and active participation in innovation initiatives.

Our research on smart grids, distributed energy management, and energy-efficient computing supports the transition to cleaner and more sustainable energy systems.

We design and deploy resilient, secure, and adaptive digital infrastructures for next-generation networks and services, both at industrial and research scales.
